~Far From Over~
chapter one
He was back in Capeside.
Pacey Witter was back,and she couldn't be happier.
The second she saw him walk across the grassy edge of the creek her pulse quickened.
She felt a little silly,here she was in her late twenties and she was acting like a teenager again.
The same energetic,spunky sixteen year old girl who had squealed in anticipation of the high school dance.
It made no difference though,either way there he was only a few feet away,and heading in her direction.
It only took an exchanged look,and they were running into eachothers arms again.
"Wow you look incredible Andie," Pacey exclaimed out of breath
"You haven't aged a day past eighteen"
Raising an eyebrow,Andie grinned
"Yeah right...you on the other hand are unrecocogizable,old man"
"What! Me?" Pacey laughed,faining shock
"No,I'm just kidding" Andie replied with a laugh
"Pacey Witter,you will never grow up"
Laughing Pacey set down his knapsack below him on the grass
"Just as I've always planned,growing up is over-rated"
Andie smiled and re-adjusted her sweater.
There was a moment of awkward silence and then Pacey spoke.
"So where's the rest of the gang?" he asked,looking around.
Glancing out at the creek,Andie sighed
"Well Jack and Jen decided to go to New York for the summer,Dawson's on vacation with his parents,and Lily and Joey..well Joey's here"
"She is?" Pacey replied quickly
"Where?"
"Joey's at Bessie's," Andie exclaimed with a smile
"Infact I'm planning on having her over for dinner tonight so we can all get reacquainted"
"I can't believe you offered to bring me in Andie,I really appreciate it,I hope you know that," Pacey shifted on his feet
"You know how my parents are,and suprisingly enough Doug's living with a woman"
Andie laughed,a grin instantly spreading across her face
"Surprises of all surprises Pacey,you did have fun hassling him though didn't you?"
Pacey smiled mischievously
"Of course,where would I have been without giving my big brother a hard time once in awhile?"
"Well you wanna head back?" Andie asked,looking into Pacey's eyes
"You must be tired from the trip"
Pacey lifted his knapsack off the ground and swung it onto his back
"Yeah I'm actually a bit bushed,maybe we should get going"
"All right just follow me Witter,my cars only a couple blocks away,"Andie replied with a smile.
Pacey linked his arm around hers
"Lead the way McPhee"
