This is a sort of "music video," if you will. I do NOT own the song, Savage Garden does. I do tend to think of things artistically; I am an artist as
well. Perhaps eventually I'll upload a series of sketches to go along with this, but at the moment you'll have to use your imagination.

dappled forest Battousai eyes gleam in a tree quick pan to the dojo - Kaoru's in the yard Kaoru looks around nervously Battousai's cuts bleed (a la OAVs) scene freezes and half-fades then blows away in smoke Kenshin stands in the wind watching birds above him (panning upwards) a bird slashes across the screen to reveal a bird's-eye view of tokyo pan up to the noon sun overlay of Kenshin in the sun sun fades, leaving Kenshin to smile determinedly fast montage of Battousai Kenshin's feet climb a rocky slope Kenshin's face pans to a sunset view with a beautiful red sky the sun goes white and fills the screen then fades to reveal Kenshin standing on a bluff in the wind pan up to the moon with leaves swirling in front of it - one leaf cuts to Kenshin and Kaoru standing close together, Kenshin's arm around her shoulder - slow infinite zoom out reveals they're on a mountaintop at night, with the Kenshin- |
