"One to another. Do you remember me?"
He looks up at the sky, rapping his arms around himself, the wind suddenly feeling cold.
"I feel so small. Are you listening, tonight?"
He closes his eyes, as the world swirls around him.
"So temporary, the things that I have seen."
He slowly opens his eyes, not wanting to see the events unfolding in front of him.
"I ran so far... Will you take me back again?"
He watches as Rachel kills Tom. He tries to turns his back to the scene, but finds he's turned just in time to see the polar bear deliver that fatal blow to Rachel. Jake closes his eyes and the world changes again.
"Entertaining angels,"
He finds himself standing in his old house. He hears laughter coming from one of the rooms, and walks in to find Rachel and Tom sitting on the couch and watching TV.
"By the light of my T.V. screen... 24-7 you wait for me."
Rachel makes a motion for him to come sit between her and Tom. She smiled like she used to, before they became Animorphs.
"Entertaining angels,"
Tom makes makes some wisecrack as Jake walks into the room, and all he can do is watch as both Tom and Rachel fade out of existence.
"By the time I fall to my knees.. Host of heaven, sing over me."
Jake falls to his knees reaching out to the now empty space, his eyes filled with tears. The world changes yet again and he's back out in the field. Still on his knees he looks up to the starry night sky for some sort of guidance.
"One to another, the feelings in between,"
Rachel appears infront of him, she has an angelic glow to her. She reaches down and offeres her hand to Jake. Jake takes her hand and stands.
"I won't let go... Of all you taught me, alright..."
Her hand slips from his, and she smiles as her form fades from view.
"Close as a brother... The way we used to be,"
Tom appears behind him, and places a hand on his little brothers shoulder.
"I'll hold my breath... And wait for you to breathe..."
Jake closes his eyes agian, and put's his hand on his brothers. He takes a deep breath as Tom also fades away.
"Entertaining angels,"
The scene changes again, and Jake is back in the living room.
"By the light of my T.V. screen, 24-7 you wait for me..."
He looks again at Rachel and Tom, they both laugh at something funny on the television.
"Entertaining angels, while the night becomes history.."
Rachel looks at Jake and nods, approvingly. Tom smiles at his little brother, and then shoots and imaginary basketball into a imaginary hoop, showing Jake he's free.. They both fade, still smiling..
"Host of heaven, sing over me..."
Jake stands in the field, the sun is begining to rise and the wind isn't as cold anymore. He looks to the disappearing stars, and smiles. As the music fades he walks off into the sun rise knowing Rachel and Tom are both happy, wherever they are.

*sighs dreamily* If you've never heard the song, download it sometime. The voice of the lead singer sounds like Jake would in my mind. I don't care what any of you say, this is my all time favorite Ani-fic written by me! It's also my first music vid :-)
