Stellar
Here I am once again watching Yama-chan's band perform. Ever since we broke up I've gone to almost all of his performances. He has a great voice. I hear all these fan girls say things like "I wanna marry Yamato!" and "Yamato is in love with me he just doesn't know it yet!" If they only knew the truth. I bet none of them has a clue he's gay. Under his request we kept our relationship under wraps. His band finishes the song they're playing and Yama-chan begins to speak, "Our last song is a cover of the Incubus song Stellar. I'd like to dedicate this to my one true love. Yagami Taichi (in Japan they say last names first in case you did not know this)if you're here then this one's for you. " Wow I did not expect him to do that. He closes his eyes and starts to sing into the mike,
"Meet me in outer space. We could spend the night, watch the earth come up. I've grown tired of that place, wont you come with me? We could start again. How do you do it, make me feel like I do? How do you do it, its better than I ever knew."
I would gladly meet Yama-chan anywhere he wanted even outer space. Sure we had our differences and that's what split us apart. But being apart I think it actually brought us closer in some ways and we have a deeper love now. Perhaps we just need to get away from this place and start all over again someplace where we won't have to worry about what our friends and family thinks.
" Meet me in outer space I will hold you close, If you're afraid of heights. I need you to see this place, It might be the only way That I can show you how, it feels to be inside of you. How do you it, make me feel like I do? How do you do it, its better than I ever knew."
I know that if I ever need someone's shoulder to cry I can always turn to yama-chan the same way he can turn to me if he needs support. If either one of us is scared the other will hold him close and help through it until he is no longer scared. I know that I need to find a way to show him that I care about him just as much as he cares about me if not more so.
" Do oh oh oh oh oh. You are stellar. You are stellar. How do you it, make me feel like I do? How do you do it, its better than I ever knew? How do you do it, make me feel like I do? How do you do it, make me feel like I do, Yeah. "
He finishes the song and takes a final bow before leaving the stage. I get up and run after him. It wasn't long before I had caught up to him. "Yama-chan what you did, dedicating that song to me, it really meant a lot to me," I said. He turned around and our eyes met. "You came! Tai-chan I've missed you so much!" He suddenly pulls me towards him and kisses me softly. And this just like everyone before it was absolutely stellar.
