I push her away from me and yet she loves me still.
I know she is hurting, I know her every whim, every desire, every pain.
I can see it in her eyes.
Her eyes, those are windows of her soul.
She doesn't understand that I've killed.
I never understood what love was until I met her.
She brightened up my day and made my nights easier to sleep.
Knowing when I go to school, she'll be there waiting for me.
When I see guys fawning over her, it makes me have a pain in the chest.
I know exactly what is that pain in my chest, it is jealousy.
But then I see her dismissing them.
Ignoring them, because of me.
She's waiting for me.
But I can't be with her.
She'll be in danger.
I'll protect her from afar.
Until the war is over I'll stay away.
