I Remember When..
I remember when you were no bigger than my hand,
People would owww and ahhh over you, and
they still do that today,
I remember when you were only 2 when all you
wanted to do was crawl in to my lab,
I remember when you were in preschool how you
and Hope painted each other so you would look like ladies.
I remember how Gloria would convince
you to do something even though you,
Knew how much trouble you would be in.
I remember how I was always the one to
comfort you when you were sad,
I remember the little things;
for I am your mother,
and I always will be,
I love you, Annika,
You're my one and only baby,
Love you with all my heart,
Mama
