The Final Goodbye
That dismissive glare as cold as
ice sent him walking towards the door,
Her radiant light lit the room,
he longed to hold her once more.
The diamond drops, the tears of
sorrow fell silently as she uttered those piercing words.
He stood aloft, frozen in his
tracks to speak to his beloved,
Was then rebuked by the sudden,
stifled cry but appeared by her shoulder.
She whispered softly that he had
to say goodbye. "Our love has always been doomed since we first layed
eyes."
He started to protest but she
hushed him with the final kiss...
They were held together in a
close embrace, their last moment to reminisce.
Her gentleness, his state of
mind, their complications... an eternal dance,
Had always been interupted by
those annoying missions of the mask.
Lost in this moment in their
sudden trance, they abruptly broke away,
He bid her the final farewell in
his typical monotone manor, and rushed down stairs toward his metal soldier.
She ran towards the veranda just
to catch the last glimpse she would ever see,
Then at the top of her lungs she
yelled, "Heero Yuy listen to me!"
" You will leave this place
never shall you return,"
As the anger welled up inside her
she continued on...
" How could you not prefer
me over that malevolent, "HIM" !"
He stopped for a minute and
silently replied," You have condemned me Relina Peacecraft but our
love will last an eternity!"
She nodded and smiled as she
obliged then said in return,
" Forever my heart
you'll hold, I shall dwell on that thought...
Someday you shall return to me,
but for now keep me in your heart.
Our love shall grow forever
stronger even though we are apart."
Then in that moment he hopped
into the Wing Zero.
The giant metal winged giant left
the Cinq Kingdom.
In unison they both whispered,
" Love and war is and endless, serene
waltz.."
