Meryl and Snake felt the full crushing force of the Jeep fall upon their hapless legs.
"Meryl, can you move?" Snake asked Meryl as they squirmed to get out from under the Jeep.
"I-Ican't move! My legs are stuck!" after trying some more to get out from under the car, they heard the impossible.
Footsteps! Snake and Meryl quit squirming and left their legs almost dead under the truck.
"Snake!!" Liquid cried out as he tried to move his legs, there were still some bullets left in his M-16.
"Snake!... It's time!!" Liquid said in almost a wisper.He pointed the gun straight at Snake,
his arms were kind of shaking but he was steady enough for a sure shot "It's time to end your miserable life!"
Liquid cried out in a confident tone. He aimed his gun at ready, just as he pulled the trigger, a surge of pain shot up
to his heart."FOX...!" Liquid screamed out in pain. "...Die." The silent Solid Snake finished his sentence
as Liquid callapsed to the ground. With every last ounce of strength, Liquid reached toward Snake, he gasped out his
last breath and his formally clenchedhand became outstretched and lifeless, all fell silent.
After a long pause, Solid broke the silence "If he's dead, that must mean..." Snake began but Meryl stopped him,
"Don't say it Snake" after a minute Snake and Meryl managed to climb out from under the Jeep and slowly walk
past Liquid's lifeless body to the snow-mobile below.
Epilouge
10 minutes later... footsteps are heard in the distance.
The footsteps are heard getting closer and closer towards the body that was formally Liquid,
the figure begins to lift Liquid off the ground and onto his shoulder.
"Boss..." the figure said " I've made arrangements, your gonna live again and I'm gonna get a new hand.
" He continues walk and in the distance, he hears the whine helicopter propelers and gets in. they go
off into the sky. The figure smiles and the ArmsTech logo is completly visible on the side of the copter
as it goes of into the distance.
