Lili, (who was now 23) dropped her car keys on the table and called into the empty house.

"Dad?"

"Lili? Just the person I wanted to talk to." Her father, now a balding gray-haired man, walked into the kitchen wearing a paint covered shirt & jeans.

"I guess you've been painting, huh/" Lili asked.
"I wanted to tell you something." He said at the same time Lili said

"I have exciting news Daddy!" They both burst out laughing. Then Jeff smiled.

"You go first."

"Zak asked me to marry him!"

"And you said…?"

"Yes. I said YES!" Jeff hugged Lili, almost squeezing the life out of her.

"Honey, that's great!" They did their little victory dance.

"Now what were you going to say, Daddy?" Her father broke into a large grin.

"Callie and I are also getting married."

"Oh Goodie! Now you won't be lonely when I move out!" Lili held out her hand so her father could see her engagement ring. It was a gold band with a light green stone in the middle. They did another dance around the living room.

Meanwhile, at the Philips house…

"You're WHAT!" Zee screeched.

"I'm going to marry Lili." Zak said calmly. Zee sighed.
"Reason's you shouldn't do this: 1. Lili is my best friend since we were three. 2. I'm your sister. 3. You've only been going out for—"

"Seven Years."

"Yeah."

"Reasons I should do this: 1. I love Lili. 2. She loves me. 3. We love each other."

"But Za-ak!" Zee whined.

"Don't 'Za-ak' me. I'm going to marry her and that's that." Zak declared and excused himself into his basement to practice a song that his now-semi-famous band was working on. Zee sighed and went into her room to watch soap operas. They left each other alone for the rest of the day.
