The invasion seemed a mighty good idea
Or was it just brought out of fear?
The ratings were slipping and desperation set in
And they were looking for something new, not Jerry Lynn.
With WCW recently purchased by Shane O Mac
It was only a matter of time until they were going to attack.
An army was formed - it meant war
And when ECW returned it was so much more.
It started with Lance Storm, then Hugh Morrus
Then Awesome won the Hardcore Title which now makes me curious.
He was the first WCW wrestler at MSG
So why is he on HeAT jobbing to the Holly family?
Anyway, after that came Paul E Dangerously
He made the alliance along with Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley.
The invasion was on and things were just heating up
And with the inaugural brawl and RVD, things were about to erupt.
I pity the fool who would challenge Sucka T
He is the superior athlete, he is the one who was meant to be.
5 times WCW champion - he goes amongst the best
Ricky Steamboat, Ric Flair, and even David Arquette.
The Rock then returns to everyone's delight
But then Booker T challenged him to a fight.
The Booker-Man said: "I am the WCW champion, sucka,"
The Rock replied: "Let me get this straight, you're the WCW champion's sucka?"
The fight was on, this time at Summerslam
But the Rock won which was an awful sham.
The electrifying Spinerooni failed
But at least Stone Cold prevailed.
Stone Cold's celebration though would not be a great parade
Because of Kurt Angle's awful tirade.
The milk was everywhere, it even knocked Helms out of the ring
But I still never thought I'd ever see Chavo Guerrero Jr sing.
Still, the invasion will continue and will be long running
But never fear - for a hurricane is coming.
