Prelude to the FUNimation Terror

Many people passed him in the halls, saying "hi" and making talk like acquaintances do.
However, some people were trying their best to get a promotion- by sucking up to him. He soon
grew aggravated by this, and went to his office. There he felt as if brown-nosers and reporters
couldn't pester him. He sat down in his leather chair and picked up some papers. He found a letter
addressed simply to "Boss." As he opened it, an odd feeling passed over him. He checked his desk,
only to find his picture of his greatest success- Mario the plumber. Also on the desk was his
nametag, which read "Shigeru Miyiato- Head Producer." Shigeru sighed and sat back down in
his chair. He slowly opened the letter to find a strange surprise- a picture of the Bomberman 2
crew. One thing to note was the fact that Pommy, the famous co-star, was oddly gone. Upon
searching the envelope, he found two more pictures- a Super Smash Bros. character selection
screen without Donkey Kong, and a Zelda- Ocarina of Time screenshot without Navi. Just then, the
intercom buzzed, and a shrill voice told Shigeru that he had visitors. Shigeru made a note to
fire him, then got up to greet the visitors. However, the door burst down, and three silhouettes
were seen. One was small and spherical in shape, another was large and almost human-like, and the
third resembled a floating golf ball. Shigeru walked forward to greet these odd people, but was
knocked away by a large simian hand. The figures finally stepped into the light, revealing
themselves to be Pommy, DK, and Navi. Shigeru stood and stared at them. "What is it you want?
Your letter wasn't much of a help." Pommy stepped forward and looked up at Shigeru. "You regard
us as unneeded secondary characters. We do not like this. We feel that we are in need of a
release from this job." Shigeru rubbed his temples- today was hell for him. "If you remembered
the contract, you cannot change companies for another ten years. I will forgive you for the door
damage if you just leave me be." DK now stepped forward and lifted Shigeru by his neck. Pommy
laughed for a moment, then continued. "You do not seem to understand. Pommy does not want to work
here. Navi doesn't want to work here. And DK especially doesn't want to work here. He is very bad
to be around when mad. You WILL give us the release- or DK will crush your head like a grape."
Shigeru, turning red, hit a button on his desk. All lights turned red, and a loud siren wailed.
DK released Shigeru on instinct. Adjusting his clothes, Shigeru looked at the three. "You cannot
leave, my 'friends'. You will stay- or you will die." At this time, Samus and Link ran into the
room. DK turned towards Samus and charged. Samus fired a small ion cannon at DK. Normally, this
would work, but DK was too angry to feel pain. DK grabbed Samus and began to crush the armor.
Link ran over to help, but Navi intervened. "HEY! LISTEN! LOOK! HEY! LOOK!" This nearly drove
Link to insanity. He ran to "drive the evil out of his ears." DK, who had all but killed Samus,
tossed her through the wall and into the parking lot. Shigeru was frightened, so he wrote the
pink slips. Pommy took them, and before he left, he spat at Shigeru. Shigeru, recovering several
minutes later, went to get some water, but as he was leaving, he found the single most
frightening business card in the world- "FUNimation- quality at it's best."
