20 Things That Never Happen In

1. Hercules & Iolaus are not attacked by bandits on their way to
visit to Hercules' mother.
2. Hercules & Iolaus go to visit some old friends from their past,
who are all perfectly all right.
3. Hercules & Iolaus go on vacation and actually have a vacation.
4. Hercules & Iolaus discover a totally new God, which later turns
out to be a rather well-known old God just wearing a funny hat.
5. Hercules is struck by a mysterious illness, for which the only
cure can be found in the well-stocked shelf of a local healer.
6. Hercules has to make a difficult decision about a bandit which
is made a great deal easier if he'd just beat the sh*it out of him.
7. Hercules and Iolaus successfully accompany somebody from
one place to another without a serious incident.
8. Ares attempts to make Hercules' life a living hell only to find
out that he's forgotten that in being a God, he really has more
important things to do.
9. Hercules and Iolaus come to a village and everything is
perfectly all right.
10. Iolaus is captured by a bandit, who doesn't have a score to
settle with Hercules.
11. Hercules and Iolaus encounter a monster, which they easily
pacify by offering it some M&Ms.
12. Hercules and Iolaus come to a village where everyone is happy
all the time. However, everything is soon revealed to be
exactly what it seems.
13. A major war breaks out near Corinth, but fortunately Joxer
is in the area and able to deal with it to everyone's satisfaction.
14. Iolaus is involved in a bizarre experience, which is in some way
unconnected to the Gods or their vengeance on Hercules.
15. Hercules falls in love with a woman he'd helped, and isn't
tragically separated from her at the end of the episode.
16. Hercules advises something other than "Follow your heart!"
17. A vulcano starts playing up a bit, but seems to sort itself out
after a while without any intervention from the son of Zeus.
18. Hera invites Hercules over for some tea and biscuits.
19. Zeus is fired from his high-ranking position for not being
able to control … anything really.
20. Most things are new or in some way unexpected.
