Howdy, Shippers!
We've all heard of Pokeshipping (Ash and Misty) and Rocketshipping (Jessie and James), so it seems as if Ash and James have it pretty good. But what about poor Mewtwo?! He can't go through his life alone! Hey, almost any Mewtwo fan would agree that Mewtwo deserves a soulmate as much as any other cast member.
So, who's the lovely lady?
Luckily, my sources (mostly other people's fanfics) have led me to believe that there are three lovely bacholerettes for ol' Twoie waiting in the wings! Here are three wonderful Mewtwo shippings:
#1. Mewshipping
MEANING: Mewtwo/Mew romance
THE GAL: The Mew from Pokemon- the First Movie
ORIGIN: Mew and Mewtwo share somewhat the same DNA span of the Mews.
+ FACTOR: Mewtwo and Mew seem to get along well.
- FACTOR: Size
MY OPINION: A simple 'I Love You' satisfies me.
#2. Cloneshipping
MEANING: Mewtwo/Ai romance
THE GAL: Ai, the clone of a scientist's daughter (shown only in the Japaneise {?} movie)
ORIGIN: Mewtwo and Ai are/were both clones.
+ FACTOR: Mewtwo and Ai were good childhood friends.
- FACTOR: Ai died when Mewtwo was very young.
MY OPINION: It's obvious that death can't conquer love.
#3. Crossshipping
MEANING: Mewtwo/Nurse Joy romance
THE GAL: the Nurse Joy from the Harbor in Pokemon- the First Movie.
ORIGIN: Nurse Joy's red cross (at first it was Joyshipping, but I figured Brock would claim that)
+ FACTOR: Mewtwo and Nurse Joy know a lot about Pokemon.
- FACTOR: Brock had dibs on Nurse Joy before Mewtwo even showwed up.
MY OPINION: It makes a cute story, but Brock's bound to show up.
