Disclaimer: the following are my own ideas. any reference to certain gravekeepers, fish people, or rock-eating, mountain dwellers in the nintendo video game, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time, is entirely coincedential. Naw, I'm just playin' wit' you. I don't have the rights to Zelda blah blah blah...

Dampe the gravekeeper lives all alone.

He lives in a cave just beneath his gravestone.

His ghost is a frightening sight to see,

and he may scare you but he doesn't scare me!

If I ever meet him I wouldn't fret,

for if I can beat him, his treasure I'll get!

Some say it's a weapon, some say that it's riches.

But I know his treasure is all my greatest wishes!

Dampe the gravekeeper lives all alone.

Jabu-Jabu, watch over me

Protect me from the denizens of the sea.

Make sure the water stays just right,

and make sure my dreams are peaceful tonight.

Once, long ago, on this mountain of fire,

There live a large dragon, with wicked desires.

He ate gorons for breakfast and gorons for lunch,

And gorons at dinner, and even at brunch.

Then one day, a goron named Darminia appeared,

and claimed he could chase that big dragon out of here.

He took a huge hammer into the dragon's lair,

and challenged the dragon, who was not at all scared.

The dragon accepted and stood, ready to fight.

Then Darminia swung the hammer with all of his might.

The evil defeated, Darminia retired.

Once, long ago on this mountain of fire.
