Disclaimer: Planet of the Apes doesn't belong to me it
belongs to…well whoever it belongs to.
Once Upon a Dream
I
looked at the Statue and began to panic. When the police cars came ringing up
to me and Ape offices stepped out I began to panic. "Noooo…" I screamed as they
rushed forward to arrest me "Not again". I slugged the first officer who came
near me hoping to provoke him into killing me and ending my miserable
existence.
Why had I gone after my stupid
monkey in the first place? And where was I now? Two apes rushed forwards to
assist the one I was taking out my frustration on. As one of them jumped on me
the world went dark.
When I opend my eyes it was to the
sound of the steady beating of medical monitors. I seemed to be in a sterile
environment. I groaned. What would I do now? My world was lost and the people I
had made friends with on the other world were probably long dead. Was this a
third planet, an alternate universe or the future of the planet of the apes I
didn't know and right now I was too traumatized to care. God my head hurt.
A form in medical whites came
toward me and I tensed. I looked as it grew closer and gasped in surprise. It
was Sarah, the doctor assigned to the Oberon.
"Sarah" I cried, jumping out of
bed and hugging her in my joy at seeing a familiar face. "How did you get to
this godforsaken planet?"
She looked at me as if I was insane "You must have damaged
your head harder than I thought" She said in a clinical manner. "You're on the
Oberon. We barely managed to save you from the storm and you've been out of it
for a while"
I pinched myself hard. It hurt. So
I wasn't dreaming.
It had all been a dream. And I was
going to make sure it never came true on Earth if I had to kill all monkeys.

A/N:
I generally hate those "It was a dream" fic's but this movie seemed to deserve
it.
