a/n: these I wrote today in school, while putting off homework. I'm really quite proud, these are better than my usual, I think. I write alot of poetry, I'm better at it than fics. this is just the way I express myself. please review, I would really appreciate the feedback! thanks.

disclaimer: I own the poems, everything else belongs to jk. I make no money out of this, all I get is reviews, pocket lint, and narrowly escaping detention for writing during class AGAIN.

clues for the clueless: I is Lily, us is Lily and James, lonely friend is Sirius (or Remus, take your pick) and dear ones is Remus, Sirius, Harry, ect.

on a hill the sky is brilliant
we laid here long ago
midnight always whispers
the same sweet soft and low
Luna shines above us
shining on our love
Terra firm below us
oak bows hold the doves
what is this, this shadow?
why do you often cry?
do not weep, my lonely friend
the clouds move slowly by
I did not leave, I'm on this hill
we watch, solemn, holding hands
our souls are free, my dear ones
upon the sky we stand

I soared then
soared against the darkening sky
lights shone from the windows like butter
the icy lake glinted and the snow heaped in mounds around the castle
when olivers nose froze,
he called us down
out of the sky
the pitch was dark but our faces shone,
caught in the thrill of the flight
bright eyes dancing as we trudged through the snow
going back
to melt away in the warmth of our friendship

clues for the clueless: I is Hermione

always forgotten
hidden, last, behind
is he important, too?
yes
but no one notices
head boy, quidditch star
head boy - big head boy
the filches worst nightmare
and the smallest, a beauty
but you?
last
always last
grasping upward, fighting out of the shadows
shunted aside, your best friend,
shifts uncomfortably and you fume
do they notice? you say
do you notice me?
I do-
Ron, I do

clues for the clueless: It's about Draco, mmmm, Draco

castle on a cloud
on a hill
by a lake
where its rainy rainy rainy
and the skies begin to quake

mid the thunder and the lightning
hear a crash
raindrops fall
a boy looks out the window
in his heart he finds a wall

the trees sway in the gale
and the steel lake
is a mirror
but what about this boy
what is he yet doing here?

tears are for the clouds
not for me
not for i
but a crash of sudden lightning
illuminates the sky

fathers son he is not
never will
never be
but he hasnt got the courage
to tell him what is me

I just got an idea: I think that I'll clump all my poetry together like this in the future, and add it as chapters to this. What to you think?
