Author's Note: I don't own LOD, but I wish I did. That's all that matters, right. Anyway, this is my first posting for LOD. I've written fics for other things, but not for this game. Does that make sense? Anyway, on with the poem.


I Am What I Am


People are afraid of me,
They run away in fear.
The Black Monster is apart of me,
Because I am what I am.

I have been alive for almost 11,000 years,
I have traveled my journey alone.
I have given sacrificed everything for them,
Because I am what I am.

People say I can not feel,
But what do they know?
I have survived the greatest obstacles,
Because I am what I am.

I may not have a soul,
But I am trying to save our world.
I can justify my actions,
Because I am what I am.

As I watch the village burn,
Blood runs down my sword.
Families and lives have been destroyed,
Because I am what I am.

I am Rose,
The Black Monster.
The devil herself,
And that my friend is what I am.
