threatens to give way to tears. He know that he must be strong, at least until it was all over. Looking
down once more at Tifa, he proceeded into the lake.

He vividly remembered the day she died, two weeks after meteor had beed stopped. The night after
meteor had been destroyed by Holy, Cloud and Tifa had confesed their love to one another abord
the Highwind. They had been married a week later. They moved to Villa Cloud. Cloud had finally
thought that he would never be alone again. Then two days after the wedding, he and Tifa had a
little arguement. Nothing big, just that she had to cool off for a little bit. Tifa had been hit by a car
that ran a headlight. She was going downtown to have her PHS fixed. The driver had been drunk.
But her death hadn't been mercifully quick. Oh no, she had held on for four days. After the death,
Cloud had requested that Cid take him to the place where he had layed his other love to rest, where
he now was. As he reached the center of the lake, a tear silently crept down his face.

love you. Goodbye Tifa, wait for me. Never forget me." And with that, Cloud lowered Tifa into the
icy waters. A flood of tears escaped from the eyes as he reached the shore. He collasped and let his
grief overtake him.
