At least… By: Ari-chan Rated: G

Notes and disclaimers: Haruka and Michiru belong to Naoko-sama. Don't
ask where this story came from, it just popped into my head like a lot of my others
do! Please read and review, I don't mind flames unless they are really nasty, but I
enjoy criticism so leave it all.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Michiru sat curled up in the window seat of her and Haruka's pent house
apartment. A cup of hot tea and a box of tissues sat on a table in her reach, an
open book lay in her lap. But she wasn't looking at the book, she was staring out the
window, watching the traffic go by. Yet she wasn't seeing the traffic, she was seeing
a tropical paradise where the turquoise waves rolled in over the white sand.
"Michiru?" The sound of Haruka's husky voice brought Michiru back to earth
she looked up.
"Hai?"
"Are you all right? You haven't moved in awhile, I was." Haruka stuck her
hands into her pockets and grinned lopsidedly, after all this time she still had trouble
expressing her feelings to Michiru. "I was worried." Michiru smiled faintly, she was
glad to hear the words Haruka struggled to say every day. Michiru patted what was
left of the space on the window seat.
"Come, over here and sit down." Haruka blushed, that would mean very close
contact with the girl, even though they lived together and shared a bed Haruka
always seemed to get flustered. Nevertheless the boyish blonde walked over and
sat down. She picked up the book Michiru had been reading. Greatest Beaches in
The World. Haruka smiled to herself, Michiru and her beaches.
"When you get better I'll take you to any beach you want." She looked into the
face of the aqua haired beauty. "And we can walk the beach at sunset and ride
horses in the surf. At night, after the sun goes down..." she trailed off blushing at her
thought. Michiru must have picked this up.
"Oh, Haruka, that sounds fantastic!" She took the blondes hands in her own.
"Mostly the last thing you said." Haruka blushed deeper.
"Well, you know, it's the least I can do. After all you're sitting her all day,
sneezing and blowing her nose, I'd think you'd need to get out." Michiru only nodded
staring deeply into the eyes of the handsome racer. She leaned, Haruka leaned in,
and just as their lips were about to meet Michiru sneezed.
Michiru tried to stifle her laughter as she saw the look on the face of her lover.
"I'm sorry."
"I'm just glad you sneezed and didn't puke like yesterday..."

Thanks for reading this! As for what's coming in the future:
I am currently working on a *very* long "How Michiru and
Haruka met" story. So watch out for that. Also a new installment of Ari-chan does
Japan will be coming around, I promise! In the mean time e-mail me at
