Author's Notes: Here's a little poem I wrote in Science one fine day. Elena, reflecting on her fellow Turks and her dinner date with Tseng that was never able to occur. It's kinda sad…but I REALLY like it. I think the rhythm sounds nice. Please review. Oh, and for those who have read "A Walk in the Woods" and are wondering what the fook happened to part 2, well…I've gone through 3 computer crashes and about 4 second halves of part 2. So please, be patient. Thank you.

Tonight We Go

Tonight he goes to danger

His life is again

At stake

Murderous glint in his eyes

Callous to fear

He leads the way—

The fool.

Tonight he goes to work

The same is not the

Norm

Eyes hidden, feelings hidden

His past hidden to me

He plods behind—

The thinker.

Tonight he goes to Temple

The secrets will

Be unlocked

A wound, a whisper

He loves her

Lover passes away—

The angel.

Tonight I go to dinner

We will talk, and

Maybe more

I wait, and wait

The man is not here

A tear is shed—

The mourner.

I reach home, a message

It wasn't me

He couldn't come

There were complications.

My feelings never told…

My body goes cold.

Oh yes. That's an awesome poem. Don't forget to review, kiddies!
