Memories of Asuka

In a wheel that spins, a cycle nonstop,
A nightly routine, a single teardrop.
A billion women all passes me by,
Yet not once one heard my deep heartfelt sigh.

Circled by flowers, from midnoon to dusk,
Besieged by women, an odorous musk.
A million women I'm done searching through,
Yet not a single one matches with you.

In silence tears fall, me grieving my pain,
A memory search, with nothing to gain.
Engraved deep within all scarring the heart,
The times spent with you will break me apart.

I hear your voice speak, a sweet sound at night,
A nightmare of death, a day full of fright.
Tattooed in my arm a simple sketched burn,
You asking out loud "Are you gonna learn?"

A ghost in the dark, a shadow within,
The shadows disperse, a new day begin.
My hands are holding a small flower pot,
Small purple flowers of Forget-me-not.
