Ohayo minna! This was
written after I had learned about the World Trade Center Bombing and the
Pentagon bombings. And I started to think about war and that led me to
why people fight. This will be a small collection of short one paragraphs

Enka no Senshi - Reasons Part 1
Amuro-
Sometimes people ask, others what
are you fighting for? Some look back at them in bewilderment mumbling they
are peaceful and do not fight. Some say they are fighting for their true
love's honor. Some say for revenge. Some say for hatred. Some say for victory.
Some say for Honor. Yet,have you ever once heard that they are fighting
just because they need to? No, never. Everyone needs a reason to fight.
Yet I don't. I fight becasue I have to. I don't make up a reason. It's
just...It's just not worth it. But now that I think about it. Must I have
a reason? Or can I just keep on fighting? I don't think I nned a reason
to fight but what if someday I am asked? What will I say? What WILL I say?
I suppose I will say, I wanted an answer. I guess that is all that needs
to be said.

Reasons. War. Fighting. All the
same thing in my eyes. My reason for fighting? As is most, I am fighting
for a cliché. One that is used relentlessly time after time. Fighting
for the one I love, you say? No, thats not it. The biggest cliché
of all, revenge. Not give me that, oi. I am doing what most do. Avenging
the innocent. Taking what was mine back from those who took it. Many say
that war is niether black nor white. Yet when it comes to those I seek
a death warrant, they truly fall on the black side of the spectrum.

A reason for what I am fighting for?
The most noble reason of all! For the one I love! Her hair is like
beautifuly satin corn. The sun goddess from the heavens! Her lips as the
deepest red of a rose. She is my sole reason for fighting. Then once I
am done fighting I will spend the rest of my days with her. My true love!
