Oh, Goku, My Strong Husband

Chi-chi
stood smiling as she stood at the counter in the kitchen of her home doing her
daily duty of making dinner for herself, her father the Ox King, and her two
ever hungry Saiyans, Goku, her husband, and her son Gohan. Goku and Gohan had been off training with
Piccolo all day to get ready for the upcoming battle with the androids, as they
had been doing for the past year and a half.
Chi-chi sighed as she thought about how she would rather have Gohan
study instead of training to fight, since he was already pretty good at it, and
trying to become a Super Saiyan, whatever that was. Gohan already was super in her eyes. But, looking on the bright side, at least he was outside in the
nice sunshine, getting lots of fresh air, and was extra healthy.
Chi-chi
poured some water into a pot full of rice that was sitting on the stove. She thought of how much Goku loved rice⦠or any
food for that matter. She chuckled
softly as she thought about it. She
loved Goku. His big goofy smiles, his
cheerfulness, how he cares so much about his family and friends, how he's so
willing to sacrifice his life for his loved ones, how he will always give
people a second chance; all of it. She
admired his strength, both physical and emotional.
"Always
trying to save the world no matter what and still finding time to chow down in
the midst of it all," Chi-chi said to herself.
"Oh Goku, my strong husband."
She shook
her head and resumed her cooking. She
had to make at least five more pots of rice to add to the seven she had already
made.
"Those boys
sure do eat a lot," Chi-chi smiled. "Maybe
that's why they're so strong. Why, if I
ate as much as a Saiyan I would look like a blimp! Which reminds me, I think I need to lose a few pounds."
All of a
sudden, Chi-chi felt strong arms circle around her lovingly and a familiar
voice say, "No you don't honey, you look great!" It was Goku.
"Thanks
Goku," Chi-chi turned around and returned his hug and added a kiss. "You're home early."
"Well, we
got kinda hungry so we decided to head back home. Besides, Gohan said he had some studying to catch up on," Goku
said.
Chi-chi was
shocked. "Have I died and gone to Heaven?
Gohan is actually studying without having to be told? Are you sure this is our little Gohan
you're talking about?"
"Sure
thing," Goku smiled. "Surprised me too,
but I figured it would make you happy so I had no objection and motioned that
we all come home early."
"Wow," was
all Chi-chi could say. "Well, you can
go ahead and fix Gohan and yourself a little snack while I finish cooking
dinner."
"Okay,"
Goku headed for the refrigerator.
Chi-chi
smiled again. "My strong man gets
stronger in everyway and never fails to surprise me with what amazing feat he
will accomplish next."
"Hey
Chi-chi," she heard Goku say, so she turned to face him. "Could you get the plastic off this piece of
cheese for me? I can't seem to get it
off without totally mutilating the cheese."
Chi-chi
looked over at a pile of gooey cheese and plastic on the floor, shook her head,
smiled, and sighed, "Oh, Goku."
THE END
Author's Note: Okay, I know that was kind of retarded and
cheesy (heh) but please don't be too mean to me when you review. I thought of the idea one morning while
eating some cheese for breakfast and I couldn't get the little plastic wrapper
off. I wrote it after midnight one
night so give me a break, I wasn't fully awake when I wrote it.
