Dragon In Chains: a (really very) short prequel to Draco Liber

The Dark Lord had risen again. And as for all, there were problems for the students of Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. Harry Potter was in danger everywhere he went, Hermione Granger had to remain home instead of visiting Viktor Krum in Bulgaria and the others had their problems too. But nobody had problems as big as Draco Malfoy.
Draco Malfoy had fallen in love with Ginny Weasley.
And his life had become the Hell on Earth. He knew his father was a Death Eater. He knew his family hated hers. And she hated him and his family. But his feelings for her kept growing stronger. His feelings were growing since he first saw her in his second year. And now, after his fourth year, he knew that he loved her, he loved his enemy.
The fourth year had been the most painful experience for Draco. Nobody knew it, but every time he did something to Potter, he also hurt himself. Because he knew that hurting Harry would hurt Ginny. And hurting Ginny did hurt Draco; it hurt more than he ever could imagine it would.
And then the Dark Lord rose again.
The day Draco came home from the school his father was ecstatic. He said his Lord had made him his third man, right after the Lestranges. They had invaded Azkaban, and the dementors had joined his Lord. And Draco, who should have been happy for his father, felt like the world around him was going to collapse. Everybody was going to know what his father was; some Aurors who had seen him had managed to escape from there. Lucius was promised his Lords protection if the Aurors should ever disturb him, but for Draco this weren't good news. The one he loved hated the Death Eaters. And to be known as the son of one of the closest people to Voldemort wasn't going to improve his chances with her. If there ever should be any… He felt like in chains.
And then he made his decision…

AN: Continued in Draco Liber (although this here was written after I started DL). This just gives some minor background informations. And you can flame if you like, I know this is the worst thing I've ever written.
