Author's Note: This poem is written as a gift for Mami-san, for being a good friend, a good koi to my "daughter" and to give support to her new Brad and Aya page.

Fire Trapped in an Icy World

Different in all ways of body and heart,
Yet equal in manner and fear.
Always controling, never falling apart,
But never the men they appear.

Nations divided, separated souls,
Brown eyes mingled in a violet glow,
Together they mix, both in control,
Enemies trapped in passion's heat flow.

Both leaders of ranking in groups that do kill,
As icy and sharp-witted fast.
Tutored in combat and survival harsh skills,
And inside a game where none last.

Love's an emotion that burns as bright fire,
Blind as amour in lovers' craving.
Red hair joins black in a deep twist of desire,
Broken by the new sun's dawn breaking.

Shades of simple color, a shadow's black/white,
The defining line of good/bad.
Compounded together as gray shades at night,
Eternal a mix of sane/mad.

Brought together by burdens alike they bear,
Placed down their arms in passing truce.
Reposing as one in a bed they both share,
Doting in a world of abuse.
