The young man stumbled back over a stone

The young man stumbled back over a stone.

"What is it you want from me?" the boy yelled, wiping blood from his nose and lip. He hadn't even had time to blink when just a few moments earlier he was blindsided by a large man on horseback.

"Well! Aren't you going to answer me!" the boy yelled, standing up and beginning to draw his sword. But there wasn't time enough for him to even see the sheen of the metal from the moon's glow. For the Man on horseback had drawn his bow at lightning speed, and same was the arrow that hit the boy, dropping him on the ground...

"Link! Get up, you're having another nightmare." The girl kneeled next to the struggling boy as she tried to wake him from his troubled sleep. "Link, please get up, it's just a dream."

"Ah! No!" Falling off of his bed, Link remembered where he was.

"Link! Are you okay? You where having another bad dream again weren't you…" The princess asked, tears where beginning to form in the corners of her eyes as she watched the poor boy so upset over having another one of his nightmares.

Link let out a sigh and pounded his bare fist on the hard stone floor of his castle room. Thinking about his dream, and at the same time, trying to forget it all together.

"Zelda… I'm sorry… It's just that…" He was fighting to find something to say, to find something that he could do to apologize to Zelda for acting so childish.

"It's okay Link, you don't have to apologize to me. I know how nightmares can be. Lately I have been having some of my visions again. I think there may be something happening on the far side of Hyrule.

Link shuddered slightly, and not just because of how cold he was from lying on the cold stone floor. He remembered Zelda telling him about some of her visions. They weren't things that one should mess with, or disbelieve in. Link himself had only had one or two of them in the past. One of which turned out just to be a bad memory that was warped from being hit in the head with the hilt of a sword while training, and the other when he was just a child, about seeing Zelda being whisked away on horseback.

"You have been having visions again? I thought we defeated Ganon and sealed him in the sacred realm. How could he-"

"No… It's not Ganon" She cut him off. Link at this point was very curious about what Zelda was saying.

"It's something else. I'm not sure what, but I believe that it will cause a lot of trouble in the future."

Link thought to himself about what she had just said. It had been only two years since he had defeated the evil Ganondorf and Ganon. And now the princess was talking about another evil.

"I should go check it out. I don't want this to get out of hand, if something happens like it did last time, I may not be able to win again. Even with the help of the Sages." Link said this as he got off of the floor, he now stood between Zelda and the door. In his mind he didn't want to go. He didn't want to leave this place, this new way of life, or the princess.

"I suppose that would be the best thing to do… I will go have father ready some supplies for your journey." She said, as she ran past him and down the hall. Link knew she was upset, and he didn't blame her. He had almost lost her last time when they where matched up against Ganondorf. And this time he felt even more unsure of himself. That dream didn't help any…
