'No not Merian! It can't be! It just can't be!' Thought WuFei, disbelievingly, as yet another tear streamed down his face. 'She's gone...s-she's...' He couldn't bring himself to say it. It all seemed so unreal to him.
"Justice," He muttered slowly, as if the words had no meaning to him, "She, …She fought for justice…"
He turned slowly to gaze at the beautiful field of flowers just infront of him. Suddenly, the flowers seemed more interesting than they had been just 3 minutes ago…The Sparrows and Robins chirped a slow and almost sad tune, as if mourning the death of the one who lay in WuFei's arms.
'She fought to give justice to the people of out colony..." More tears flowed freely down his cheeks, '...and she died defending *us*'
He stood straight up, but his head was still bowed down.
"Justice," He repeated for the 4th time, "A world without justice…is a world of war, a world of evil!"
He raised his head up high and proud, and secretly wished that somehow, Merian could hear him, "I WILL DETERMIN WHAT JUSTICE IS!!!"
