"It's amazing how you can speak right to my heart
Without saying a word you can light up the dark
try as I may I could never explain
What I hear when you don't say a thing"

Dr. Tofu watched Kasumi from the clinic door. He still couldn't get over the fact that she had understood his studdering enough to agree to a date with him. He watched as Kasumi paused for a moment to talk to a friend who passed her on the sidewalk. even though she was too far away to hear, his heart leapt at the memory of the sound of her voice. Just watching her made the lengthening evening shadows seem a little less dark...

"The simle on your face lets me know that you need me
There's a truth in your eyes saying you'll never leave me
The touch of your had says you'll catch me if ever I fall
now you say it best when you say nothing at all"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dr. Tofu and Kasumi sat side by side on a bench in the park. The full moon lit the silent hill. After a time, Kasumi gently placed her hand over top of his. She looked up at him with a smile. Dr. Tofu lost himself in her eyes. Kasumi turned her attention to the moon overhead, and lay her head gently on his shoulder.
"All day long I can hear people talking out loud
But when you hold me near you drown out the crowd
Old Mr. Webster could never define
What's being said between your heart and mine"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kasumi and Dr. Tofu walked down a crowded street late one afternoon. Although everyone on the street was talking quite loudly, they heard none of it. They talked casually between themselves, communicating through so much more than words...

"...you may kiss the bride." Dr. Tofu's shaking hands carefully swept the veil back over Kasumi's head. She smiled softly at him, her eyes sparkling. She rose up slightly on her tip-toes to make up for the height difference before kissing him slowly. as they parted, a great cheer went up form the crowd.
