Angels
By: Lu Peacecraft
AN: Ok this is a very emotional and disturbing peace. This is an angst poem written by Milliardo as he reflects on his wife's last minutes. Hope you enjoy...
I looked into your eyes,
how blank and cold they seemed.
I sob uncontrollably,
holding your body close to me.
Why Why Why? I ask myself.
Nothing makes sense.
You died so young,
and you've been torn from me.
Your body is ice-cold,
Your soul made of heart.
My spirit is shattered,
and I feel empty inside.
Leukemia they said to me,
and that it was impossible to save you.
As your eyes start to close,
and your body becomes limp,
I know this is the end.
Goodbye my love,
May your soul rest in peace forever.
