Just A Game?
What's this
that I see,
A game, that's all?
what is it really?
Inside the box,
inside the golden plastic,
on the screen
I starr at
A made up picture
I have in my head?
What do these people
really make?
They don't know
what's inside,
inside that I see
Not in the box,
inside the game...
no, not a game,
more, more than ever
I have the image,
I have the dream,
where is it?
I can't see it,
Do I have to see it
to believe?
Believe that this
isn't only a game?
I feel it, feel it,
I am not the Hero
on the screen that you play,
but I move the same,
I talk the same,
I fight the same,
In my mind,
I am in the same place...
Is it true,
or am I insane?
People just don't
make up a simple challenge,
in the imagination that some have
Why do we play with no point?
To make dreams,
not important?
not real, or true?
Or to see the place
that you yearn for,
that beautiful place Hyrule
Some may think the same,
as I do...
yes, many do
But the question is:
Is there a real place,
that we just haven't found?
Or are gamers,
keeping the dream away from us?
that is what the dreamers think...
Our world now,
laws, orders, rules,
in our world,
a cold, dark world
of hatred and scared souls
Some love it,
but freedom is scarce...
Freedom...
In our land we dream of, Hyrule,
freedom is a
better known word there
No screens to stare at,
no controller to hold,
it's a real, free land and home
You wish to fly away
from our world to this place,
a place where everything is,
what you think...
There, it comes true
but on the screen,
it's so real
it's so right
This land that we dream,
the magic soars
through the forest,
and in a distance
I can see it...
yes, I can,
but i believe,
like some others do
Powers and wonders...
I can feel it,
feel it
This is what I feel.
Is this the dream you fly in?
Does it give you the courage,
and even your wings?
The adventure within
that you've never experienced,
but you what to,
it's lost, and you must find it...
And with it, you can do anything,
yes, anything
You hold the thought,
we can make it come true,
cause it's not just the box,
it's not just the plastic,
and it's not just the screen,
it's you, and me
with our dreams...
and with our dreams,
we believe
But is it real?
Or is it just a tale,
a fairytale come true?
A fantasy worth while
Just a game...
but is it?
