Everywhere

7:09 A.M.

Turn it inside out so I can see
The part of you that's drifting over me
And when I wake you're never there
But when I sleep you're everywhere
You're everywhere

Just tell me how I got this far
Just tell me why you're here and who you are
'Cause every time I look
You're never there
And every time I sleep
You're always there

'Cause you're everywhere to me
And when I close my eyes it's you I see
You're everything I know
That makes me believe
I'm not alone
I'm not alone

I recognize the way you make me feel
It's hard to think that
You might not be real
I sense it now, the water's getting deep
I try to wash the pain away from me
Away from me

'Cause you're everywhere to me
And when I close my eyes it's you I see
You're everything I know
That makes me believe
I'm not alone
I'm not alone

I am not alone
Whoa, oh, oooh, oh

And when I touch your hand
It's then I understand
The beauty that's within
It's now that we begin
You always light my way
I hope there never comes a day
No matter where I go
I always feel you so

'Cause you're everywhere to me
And when I close my eyes it's you I see
You're everything I know
That makes me believe
I'm not alone
'Cause you're everywhere to me
And when I catch my breath
It's you I breathe
You're everything I know
That makes me believe
I'm not alone

You're in everyone I see
So tell me
Do you see me?

Tristin groaned, got out of bed and stomped over to the next room and barged in. "WILL YOU STOP PLAYING THAT SAME FRIKIN SONG???"
"What's your problem?" Christina asked hitting the pause button.
"My problem is that you keep playing that same song over and over, and it's seven in the morning."
"You're just pissed of like you have been for the whole summer."
"I have not been pissed for the whole summer."
"Yes, you have. I come here like I always do, and for the past summer you've been pissed." Christina put her hands on her hips.
"I have not." Tristin growled.
"You have, too."
"Fine play the stupid song." Tristin threw his hands up and stormed into his room.
"Fine, I will." Christina hit play and the song filled the air once again, only this time much louder. Christina wasn't sure what possibly could have struck her cousin to yell at her. Tristin always had his emotions in check. He always had a smile on his face, especially around her and Crystal, her sister but whenever Crystal wasn't around he would sit around and sulk or just stay in his room. Whatever it was, Christina hoped that he'd get over it, soon. "You've been like this way too long." Christina said to herself.

"I'm sorry." Tristin apologized. " I guess I have been in a bad mood."
"Yes you have." Christina agreed.
Tristin shot her a look before continuing. "I've just got a lot on my mind."
Christina nodded.
"I'm going to be at Barnes & Noble for awhile, okay?"
Christina nodded.
"I'll be back before 12."
"Bye."
"Bye."

Tristin walked into Barnes & Noble. He began looking for a new book of poetry to read. He easily found Walt Whitman's Leaves of Grass. "You're everywhere to me and when I catch my breath. It's you I breathe. You're everything I know, that makes me believe I'm not alone." Tristin shook his head at what he was singing. Tristin slowly made his way towards some empty chairs. * You're in everything I see. So tell m- * Tristin stopped at the familiar figure in front of him. Tristin took a deep breath. *Do you see me? *
"Rory?"
Rory looked up. "Hey Tristin."
*Yes. *
