Author's note: I'd just finished reading plot-less Kensuke fics, when this "plot" for a plot-less fic came to mind. It's short, but fluffy. Kensuke/Daiken pairing. Please R & R.

Best Friend's Kiss
by Relena
Feels like someone's following me. Davis thought as he turned around to see only the empty walkway behind him. He shrugged and continued his way home. I'm not just imagining things, I can hear somebody's foot steps. He turned around once again; still nothing. The redhead let out a little sigh before he faced forward again.
"Mmmpphhh" He managed to say as lips closed off his. All he could see, was a flock of silky indigo hair. Ken? Is Ken really kissing me? Seeing that Davis wasn't kissing back, the former emperor pulled back. "I'm sorry." he stammered before leaving a perplexed redhead in the middle of the park walkway.

Why'd I have to do that for? Ken Ichijouji
already knew the answer to that question. He had had a crush on his best
friend for what seemed forever now, but hadn't told him in fear that it
would abruptly end their beautiful friendship. However, the holder of kindness
was tired of always hiding his feelings, so he took another course of action.
He figured that if the first thing he did was kiss the redhead, then even if their friendship ended, he would have at least gotten to kiss him. I love you Davis, I love you so much. Why don't you feel the same for me?And now I've probably lost your friendship. Nothing will ever be the same.

"What just happened here?" the second child
of friendship asked to no one in particular. Did his best friend really
kiss him? Or was it only another one of his daydreaming fantasies?
No, it was real. Why'd I have to stay there like an idiot? I've wanted
this for so long, why didn't I react? The moment Davis had laid eyes
on the boy genius, he'd been attracted to him.
The redhead had been shocked to find out that his secret crush was his enemy. But had also been determined to bring his Ken back to the 'good side'. He had succeeded; the indigo haired boy was now his best friend. He kissed me. He smiled dreamily. I've got to catch up with him. The goggled boy started running frantically towards his love.

Ken had sat down on one of the park benches
to try and sort out his feelings. A panting Davis suddenly appeared out
of nowhere and took place beside the other boy. "I'm sorry I kissed you,
but I couldn't help myself anymore...If you don't want to see me anymore,
I'll understand." the blue haired genius sadly said.
The second child of courage, put a hand under the other boy's chin so that he could make Ken face him. Davis looked into the violet eyes "I'm not sorry you kissed me." He simply said. "So I could do it again?" Ken shyly asked, hope flashing trough his eyes. In response, Davis slightly lifted Ken's head, and tilted his before leaning forward.
Both boys closed their eyes as their lips touched once again. This time though, the kiss wasn't one-sided. Ken's tongue brushed against the redhead's lips, asking permission to get in. Davis gladly parted his lips to let his lover explore his mouth. As the kiss was deepened, Davis' hand went through the indigo hair, and Ken's started gently caressing the redhead's back.
They were so absorbed in their passionate kiss, that both of them forgot to breath. Fact that had to break them apart all-to-soon if you ask them. They looked at each other, foreheads touching. "I love you Davis." the digidestined of kindness smiled. "I love you too, Ken." Davis answered back. They both leaned forward, closing the small gap between them for another earth-shattering kiss.
