Why wouldn't you love me
You knew in my eyes
I saw you as a walking goddess
I worshipped the ground
On which your footsteps were found
Just because you had walked across it
Yet you pushed me away
rejected me everyday
for a stupid guy in a hat
it made me so mad
and made feel sad
that you loved a dorky dude like that
But I can live without
Your smile or your pout
Because now I'm with a special someone
they're exciting and new
much better than you
and clearly a lot more fun
so I'm finally free
from you who didn't love me
with you, I'll no longer have to plea
You have yet to know they're name
but it's largely marked with fame
