WAITING FOR YOU
_Whatever you say
Whatever you do
I will be right here waiting
for you
Whatever it takes
Or how my heart breaks
Pan sighed and took the liberty to close her eyes. Would this ever stop hurting?
Silently, invisibly she cried.
Trunks. Trunks again. Always Trunks.
Today he and Marron had announced their wedding. Ofcourse they already knew the couple would get married, but now it was official.
Pan sighed again. This was
hopeless. Would she ever get over this?
For as long as she could remember, she'd felt something for Trunks. Wether it was friendship or something deeper, she didn't know. Once she'd hit puberty, she did know he was stunning. Amazingly handsome, incredibly well-built, and so damned good smelling!..
But it was more than attraction. It was something that was based on their friendship and strengthened by their friendship, for that lasted over the years.
This something was love, had to be love. What else could keep her from falling in love with anyone else?
He didn't know. How could he know? She'd never told him. She'd never told anyone. She was too proud to do such a thing.
Ofcourse Bra suspected something, but she'd never asked and Pan had never indicated she wanted to talk about it.
Just yesterday they'd sparred together, made fun together. She was so close then. She could feel the heat coming from his body through his clothes and hers. Whenever she got the chance to be so close she breathed in deeply, savouring his scent. His mere presence was enough to make her heart ache with desire.
And it hurt; it hurt so much to know he was not and would never be hers. He was a good friend, and although she cherished that friendship, it made the situation even worse. How could she stand to be so close to him without being with him?
But still, she'd done it. She'd withstood it. Until this day she'd survived, and she would survive. If she'd just be able to smell him every now and then, touch him, even though it was accidentally, just be with him.
And maybe, maybe she'd some day love someone else, someone who loved her back.
That thought was the only one keeping her alive some times, but it was enough.
Son Pan would always survive.

-AN: ...ok, that was one frickin'weird story... And I know that those 4 people who've actually read this want a sequel, one in which she'll get Trunks.
But HA, HA; I won't make it. Why not? Well, the one and only reason is that I don't want my fanfiction always to end good, because life ain't that way. MY life ain't that way. So, you can pity me, I'm going through the same thing!! ~_^ Ain't I a lucky girl... -_-
But anyway, for sweet get togethers, check my other fics. They live happily ever after.
...wow, the author's notes are about as long as the whole ficcie ~_^
