AU. This story will fall between the episode 'Solitude' and the next one 'Falling,' the Red-K episode. In 'Solitude,' Lucy broke up with James, but in this story, Kara doesn't know quite yet. It starts with a blogger, a hell of a lot of questions and an ex-Navy Seal with PTSD ending in something so much bigger than either of them could have ever expected. When Bekka James stalks her way into his life, Luke Morrison finds his life changed forever and not necessarily for the better. National City needs to be protected and Supergirl may not be able to handle it alone.

Kara feels she had no choice but to break up with Adam, Cat's son, because their relationship seemed doomed to go nowhere. But now Alex may have a solution that allows the couple to move forwards.

Kara starts to realize that relationships aren't as easy as her cousin makes them seem, so she asks for a little advice. The conversation ends up being much more enlightening than what she expected, and she realizes that her 'ka-pow' wasn't right, but that the gentle 'swoosh' actually is. What applies to humans doesn't necessarily apply to kryptonians, right? OneShot
