Duo, Are you SURE you're ok?!
The large apartment that held the five gundam pilots would usually be filled
with blaring music and Duo's tuneless singing, along with the thuds of his two
left feet . But today was different.
"Hi Duo" Heero mumbled
"Goodmorning" Duo said looking over a newspaper. That was different,
quite nice compared to the usual grunt whilst Duo watched cartoons.
"Newspapers? since when did you read newspapers?" Wufei asked.
"What do you mean?" Duo laughed " I always read the newspaper!"
Trowa and Quatre entered the room.
"Duo, are you sure you're ok?" Quatre asked with a bewildered look
"Your feet are on the floor and you haven't wrecked the coffee table yet,
wow, long nagging IS the way to do it!"
"Well!You don't expect me to live in a PIGSTY do you?"
"What have you been doing all this time then?" Heero sniggered
"I don't know what you mean." Duo went back to his newspaper.
The others talked quietly then said "We're going out- want to come?"
"No! I'm FAR to busy to go OUT!" Wufei, trowa and Quatre shrugged
and walked out, Heero stayed.
"Look, Duo are you SURE you're ok?"
"What has got into you people? I'm fine, never better!"
"Well seeya then." Heero said and quickly walked out to catch up with
the others.Duo quickly got to work. He'd wasted enough time already!
He was writing a gardening article- Growing Tomatoes- He had only
two days to finish it! He was being paid so he would buy a book with
the money, no, better still! An encyclopedia!!
When he'd finished writing he got out a feather duster and a frilly pink
pinny, putting 'classical fm' and danced in a very un-duo way.
The others burst in whilst he was vacuuming.
"Hello!" Duo said cheerfully, Wufei burst out laughing.
"Duo-pink-frilly!!" He spluttered.
"Oh! My pinny- do you like it?"
"Err..it's very...you.." Heero wavered.
"Duo it's MY pinny!" Quatre whined as Trowa walked to his room
and shouted
"Ah! you-you went in my room!"
"Why yes- how am I supposed to make your bed if I don't go in!"
Quatre shoved Duo onto the sofa.
"You sit down and I'll get the themometer!"
Wow, Duo thought, this sofas sure comfy, I'll just put my feet up...
"Duo..Duo..DUO!"Heero shouted
"Wah!" he woke up and his legs jerked "oops!"
"Duo!" Quatre moaned "I just cleaned that coffee table!"
"Sorry, mum!" He laughed "Ooh, Tom & Jerry!"
In a while they went out and were sitting in a cafe. Wufei was reading
a newspaper.
"Hey duo" He said grinning.
"Wuh?"
"I never knew you liked gardening!"
