wrapping his arms around her
cradling their child

She cooed softly to him
their child
soothing him to sleep

He lifted their child
out of her arms
taking him to his bed

She sighed
she was happy
for once in her tragic life

A life full of dangers
mysteries and terrifing
conspiracies

A life that she had survived
with the one she loved
with her everything

He came back to her
hugging her and
kissing her forehead

She smiled
it would be difficult
this new life together

But they would survive
together
because life is what you make it
