Lina Casts The Dragon Slave

A/N: I'm at school, and I stayed up all hours of the night watching Slayers, so this is the first thing that came to mind. That and trying to cast a fireball at my Math Teacher.. Uh, anyway. Heres my shooooooort fic. Titled appropriately. Enjoy. ^^

Jiggsaw Puzzle of Doom (Lina's Bad Day.)
"Gourry, baka! Look what you did!" Lina Inverse, the 'beautiful, sorcerery genuis' was yelling at her two-tacos-short-of-a-fiesta brained lackey again for the third time that day. Boy, was relaxing tough. Amelia had decided they needed a break, so they were all lounging around. Except for Zelgadis. He was out looking for a cure. So Lina had decided to sit at a table and do a jigsaw puzzle. After gritting her teeth down to almost nothing, and burning half the inn room with fireballs, she'd managed to get down to the last 10 pieces.
But, thats when Gourry came in.
"But, Lina, I thought the squiggly piece might want to sit next to another squiggly piece, but the squiggly piece wouldn't fit so I forced it then the table turned over!" Gourry tried to reason with his hot-headed friend, but she was already muttering something quite familiar. Something too familiar.
Gourry ran out the door as fast as he could, but Lina chased him. He climbed up a tree, and she stood at the base. "May the fools who stand before me be destroyed by the--ack!"
Lina had stopped. Gourry peered down to find Lina on the ground, a very happy (as always) looking Xelloss perched on her back.
"Oh, my," Xelloss acted surprised. Of course, he was acting... "I'm sorry, Lina-chan! I must have not been paying attention to where I was landing!" He stood and stepped aside, allowing Lina to her feet, madder than ever.
"Darkness beyond.."
"LINA-SAN!"
"Darkness beyond..."
"LINA-SAN!"
"DARKNESS BEYOND!!"
"LIIIIIIIIIINNAAAAAAAAAA-SAAAAAAAN!"
"What?!" Lina barked, turning behind her. Amelia had found Zelgadis, who was sadly unsucessful in his search, and was waving to the three of them. Lina's face dropped, and she sighed.
"Hello, Lina-san! Zelgadis-san and I thought maybe you'd want to go eat some.... LINA-SAN?!"
"MAY THE FOOLS WHO STAND BEFORE ME BE DESTROYED BY THE POWER YOU AND I POSSESS! DRAGON SLAVE!" Finally, the small red head released the huge firey blast, catching even Xelloss with it's heat.
After a few more fireballs, Lina calmed down. Everyone else was.. to say the least, burnt to a crisp...
