Goodbye sugar candy cane,
Goodbye sanity
Goodbye every ounce of logic,
To Wonderlands profanity.

Goodbye silver locket,
Goodbye rational mind
Goodbye all direction,
For Wonderland is blind.

Goodbye understanding,
Goodbye all I love
Goodbye sweet forgiveness
In Wonderlands white glove.

The sugar candy cane is bitter,
The sanity is soiled
The logic in my mind has sprung
From it's bloodied, rusted coil.

The silver locket's knotted,
The rations all consumed
The direction does but lead me
To my yellowed tomb.

The understanding is rewritten,
The love is poison hate
The sweet forgiveness pending
Between a feather and my weight.

My life remains confined
Inside these grey and moaning walls.
The sheets around me deafened,
By the final, dying call.
