The young maiden looked into her opponent's monstrous eyes, trying to see his next move. Caught back by her intensive stare, he looked in shock but quickly change his expression back to serious. He sent the order to one of his knights and took out one her men. However it was only a pawn, sacrifices had to be made. Then she looked out onto the battlefield-
"Wait, that's not right! Unfair!" Elisa Maza said out loud to her inhuman friend as she stood up.
"What is wrong?" Goliath questioned.
"My king was wide opened!"
"Oh, I did not notice." He said innocently.
"Yeah right! Ever since I got shot, people have been acting as if I was a time bomb waiting to go off!" she said angry. She did just explode, thought Goliath. "I envy your stone ability," she told him.
"And I envious of your ability to see the sun every day." He told truthfully looking down at her. She looked outside into the night, the forever darkness that he must live in.
"Yes, it always seems that way. Do you wish to end the game?"
"All right, just as long as you play with your full ability."
"Agreed." He said softly. And they sat down to play a friendly game.
Author Note: What did you think? I had been dying to write this.
I had planned to put it in Healing, but I couldn't find a place for it, and
plus I like this format of writing for this story. Please give me all comments,
suggestions, or complainants. Daydreamgirl007@yahoo.com
