My Only Weakness

Lingering inside me
Eating at my brain
Always there to haunt me
Forever like a stain

Every passing minute
I watch the time go by
Growing every second
Till I'm about to die

As soon as I get up
Then when the sun is high
And finally evening comes
The sun drops from the sky

It's cancer in my body
This fire always spreads
I can not stop its power
It's running through my head

The one thing that can beat me
That always brings me down
Is my unending hunger
My only weakness now
