I was in the crime lab when the news broke.I had just spoken with Isabella only minutes before and knew what she would be thinking,pure fear.One of the lab techs turned on the TV and we saw the first tower collaspe.I decided to beep Isabella and see if she knew anything.She called in a matter of minutes,fear and a touch of sadness in her voice.She only had one bit of info,a plane had hit the Pentagon and Kryeck had seen it.She also knew that he was ok.I told her that I would be in Mulder's office shortly and to tell him the reports would be late."No problem" Isabella answered as we hung up.I knew the fear in Isabella's voice was real,she had been based in the NYC field office before she came to DC last winter and still has friends there.I hurried with the reports to check in with her and Mulder.Mulder told me when I got to his office what little either of them knew,2 planes hit the WTC,one hit the Pentagon,and one near Pittsburg.Isabella added with a touch of sadness in her voice,"2 friends from the NYC office are missing" as she dabbed her eyes with tissues.At that moment,Kryeck came in only long with to touch base with Isabella.Good thing,it seemed to calm her.I only know one thing and Isabella would agree:this should have never happened
