"24! 32! Hut, hut, hike!"
Peter stepped backwards, as Greg through the oddly-shaped pigskin ball through his legs.
Peter caught it with no problem, and Greg stood up, running backwards. The boy tossed the ball
to his older brother, only to find it fly directly at Marcia Brady's face.
"Dinner's ready! -- OH, MY NOSE!"
She cupped two hands to her face, covering that now embarrassing spot that had just been flattened.
"Oh, I'm sorry Marcia. Are you okay?"
"Hey you guys, dinner is ready!" Jan trunched out from the house, to see Marcia in agony, Greg and Peter
in guilt, which would bring her to happiness. She couldn't help but giggle a little, walking back inside
to her mother, Carol Brady. "Guess what! Marcia broke her nose outside."
"Marcia what!? Oh no, I better go see what happened.. can you help Alice finish the meatloaf when she comes
back from the butcher?"
"I want to help!" Cindy would appear from the living room, holding her doll, Kitty Carioll.
Carol smiled, placing a hand on Cindy's shoulder. "Of course you can help, Cindy." She stepped outside, onto
the faux green grass they called astro turf. "Marcia, what happened?"
"Greg and Peter were playing football, and they broke my nose! This is so awful! Now my date with Doug Simpson
is ruined!" She broke into tears, cupping her face in her hands. "I can never go to skyul again with this nose!"
"It's okay, Marcia. Just come inside, and we'll put some ice on that nose."
Marcia, Greg, Peter and Carol stepped inside, to find Alice enter the house with a white bag. She passed the four
Brady's, looking at Marcia's flattened face. "What happened to your--"
Carol waved her hand. "Mother's favorite painting. ..It's crooked..I mean the painting's crooked!"
Marcia would turn her head up at Alice.
"I better go. I think I hear the nose boy! I mean the nose boy.. oh boy, did I blow it."
Jan walked through the living room to hear Marcia talking.
"Now I can never, ever go to skyul! Oh look, it's Jan. Will you break my nose too now, Jan?"
Peter stepped backwards, as Greg through the oddly-shaped pigskin ball through his legs.
