Foundling - With A Difference

From the scene where Lois asks Clark why he had Superman's globe

Clark:- You want to know why I had (sarcastically) 'Superman's' globe?

Lois nods

Clark:- You really want to know?

Lois:- (exasperated) Yes Clark! I really want to know!

Clark:- OK. Come on

Clark takes Lois' arm and leads her into the Conference Room

Lois:- Clark! Why are we in here?

Clark:- Because you want to know.

He sits her down and then starts to pace.

Clark:- Now Lois, before I tell you

(mutters under his breath)- and show you,

I need you to understand that the only reason that I did not tell you is because it was safer that way, and I knew that it would change your opinion of me. It is also extremely newsworthy. It could- no, would, be life threatening if it were to get out. Not just to me, but to you, my parents, and to anyone else close to me. Therefore, that is why I kept it a secret.

Lois:- (baffled) What? The globe?

Clark stops pacing and looks straight at Lois

Clark:- No. The reason I had the globe.

Clark looks around, to make sure that no body is watching them.

Then he whips off his glasses.

Clark:- Because I am Superman.

Pan on Lois' absolutely amazed face.
