Chapter One
"Awwight Cwoud! Wet's go!" cried Tifa. She was outside Cloud's house. Tifa was jumping up and down. Today they were going to go play baseball with their friends Aeris, Vincent, Yuffie (not a good sport, but they invited her anyway), and Sephiroth. They had to force Sephiroth to play. They needed even teams. He was too busy "planning to take over the world". Silly boy.
Cloud was ready, and went outside to join Tifa. He nodded, and they skipped off. They were almost there when a voice cried from behind them, "Hey guys! Whats up?" They turned around, and there was Vincent. He ran up to them, but about halfway there, he tripped over the red cape he wore over his shoulders. He jumped up and brushed it off. "I'm alright! I'm fine!"
The group of 5 year olds walked to Nibel Park. Aeris and Yuffie were already there. Aeris was picking weeds from around the batting house, pretending they were flowers. She tilted her head and smiled when she saw Tifa and Cloud. "Hiya Cloud! Hiya Tifa! I found all these purdy flowers!" She handed them to Cloud and ran off, her face red. Tifa stared at Cloud, laughing. "Wook's wike someone has a crushipoo on Cwoud!" Then, she ran off to talk to Yuffie.
Someone put a hand on Cloud's shoulder. He twirled around, and there was Sephiroth, smiling evily. "My plans to take over the world are almost complete, while you toddlers are still playing lovey-dovey with small boquets of flowers. How silly." He laughed and walked off.
The game started. The teams were the Losers: Cloud, Tifa and Vincent virsus the Betters: Sephiroth, Aeris, and Yuffie. (Sephiroth chise teamnames. The other members had no choice) First up to bat was Tifa. She spat on her hands, and took the bat. Sephiroth smirked, then threw a fast, fast, fast ball. Tifa saw it coming, and started to swing the bat wildly around with her eyes closed. She hit the ball out of the park, and the bat flew high into the air. Cloud saw it and yelled, "HIT THE DECK!" Aeris looked around, confused. "What's a deck?" she asked, while Vincent grabbed her and threw her down.
The baseball game continued. When Aeris got up to bat, she thought the batter's box was third base, and when she swung back, hard, she hit Cloud in the eye. She never got over it. Later on, Vincent's cape got entangled in the cage of bats, and it took a while to get it untangled. Soon, it was almost dark outside before they could get past the 3rd inning.
Sephiroth laughed, shaking his head. "Well! That was the most fun I've had in a while, watching all you numbskulls get hit and hurt!" Then, a yellow light was over his head, and his eyes opened wide. "I will play baseball tomarrow…. I will….." Cloud turned around, and Aeris had an evil look on her face, and she was holding a Minipulate Materia. Cloud laughed.
Vincent thought for a momnt, then he smiled. "Can I see that?" Aeris handed him the Materia, then Vincent said to Sephiroth, "You will act like a cat for the rest of eternity unil I say to stop."
"Meow."
Vincent laughed a long, evil laugh. He turned to the rest of them and told them to do things like "You are a soccer ball,…..you want to be kicked around", or "You think Aeris.. I mean, the soccer balls' ear is a peanut…a yummy peanut."
All in all, Vincent had a little too much fun. "Now, there's no one to play ball with, and all of them are acting idiotic," he whined. "Sephiroth! Stop chasing Tifa around! I know she's acting like a crazed mouse, but she can't help it! I can, though……" he smiled evily.
