Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story, this one about Warhammer/Halo. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I do not own Warhammer/Halo, Microsoft, 343 and Gameshop do.
Orks were not by default evil. Despite what the Imperialists stated? The Orks were eager for violence, eager to try and get more violence off the ground… It was not out of hate, nor some sociopathic desire to conquer. It was a lot more to need to find it worse and worse for the galaxy at large.
Ork was not going to be a lot more problematic issue as of now. it was going to be a problem for long-term Ork society as their people grew, increasingly would they fight to claim power, leadership, a sense of clear decision on their faces… Yes, if anything. War was fun, war was exciting, and brought MANY new things… But it did not at the end of the day allow them to progress.
However? There was always… New factors to their wars, ones which Orks did not grasp for understandable methods such as simply finding a place to conduct said war from or whence they visited war upon… Simply unwilling to accept the war was far too much fun to abandon.
Upon one such planet had been the flakes of a recent invasion, ones with time and effort would grow into another group of Orks fresh for a WAAAUGH!
Yet? This group would be… Different, still clinging to the culture of war, but physically changed due to chemicals from attempts to purge the war loving Xenos saw them instead manage to maintain physique despite not always being at war…
The changes would see these Greenskins grow into warriors who were still warriors and conquerors but with intellect, an interest outside of pure battle for now, all too interested in finding purpose now that war did not fuel them.
As the Greenskins, purely driven by instinct rose from the dirt that spawned them? It was clear they were adrift, alone in a barren world of wreckage and refuge only scavengers would visit… A perfect home for their tattered hides to lay their bewildered heads. Shootas, weapons, and supplies? Easily cobbled from the refuge, garbage to the galaxy became an empire to the Orks, a fascinating race of people whom the galaxy considered filth, somewhat fairly, mind you… But not fair to call them beasts and sing for slaughter upon them.
No, the galaxy would not be remiss. Yet? it would not be entirely true as millions of them slowly began to march towards the cobbled-together trash.
"CHARGE!" One stated, grinning as they beat their chest.
It seemed to question upon now that problems seemed to question upon now as he looked upwards. Yet? All was going to be a problem, something that needed to question.
"Charge!" The Ork yelled again as he looked upon his problem to question it for now. "CHARGE!" It yelled, swinging his arms, and leading the group with a clear-cut interest in seeing it end and end sometime soon for now… Always sometime soon and without any type of remorse or regret upon it.
None of them were interested nor did they care at all for the idea of leadership… But the one who was in charge of it was still the one commanding them forwards like a ravenous plague, interested in surging across the galaxy in throes of glorious combat, pacified by only commanders who were interested in more.
This Ork did not yet own a name, a title not bestowed upon it to identify it… But it would continue for a time beyond time and yet it would not at all seem to be grasped more and more, interested only in problems they were unable to command or control. It would be fun simply as all problems would be, issuing now and now it seemed only as if it all needed to die.
Then again? It was dying and it would be dead soon, but it would be sooner or later. All of their lives were fun and all this? Well, it would be nothing besides simply attacking and hitting them over and over again with more and more for now. It was too much for most but not for Greenskins in their ways, all too interested in what needed to be done and dusted for it all to try and focus upon, now it was a lot more to question upon now and a lot more terrible. So much to end more and more.
It was the start of their saga for now.
