Running through the streets, a ten year old boy in an orange jumpsuit was laughing loudly as a shop keeper was chasing him away. He was drawing graffiti throughout the village and dodging officials left and right. Soon he made is way up to the Hokage Monument and started painting lines across the faces of the legendary leaders. "Naruto!" Yelled someone from below. Looking down he saw Iruka. "Damn it. Now all the fun is over." Naruto huffed. Jumping down he got lectured by his sensei. "Listen Naruto you have to do better. Instead of playing pranks and goofing off, why don't you try reading and training. Make something out of yourself. If you hope to be a true shinobi one day and eventually the Hokage you're going to have to clean up your act." Iruka sighed heavily. "Ok, Sensei." Naruto spoke softly with his head hung low. After cleaning up the Hokage Monument, Naruto went home and started working out. He began practicing different moves and imagining different battle scenarios.

The next day Naruto went to the library and got some books on different styles of Ninjutsu and Taijutsu. He began going out into different clearings and practicing. He had read on how to build and circulate chakra. Focusing hard Naruto, sought to feel his chakra and send it to his feet. After he felt the swelling of chakra increase and he blasted off in a sprint and tried to keep a steady pace without further boosting. Naruto worked on this for at least three weeks which increased his chakra reserves and control. After developing his chakra manipulation abilities, Naruto started working on his Taijutsu. He trained like he read and kept his form steady and firm. He worked day in and day out. Naruto thought of different combinations and unconventional ways that most people wouldn't think of. Going home each night sore but a little stronger Naruto was happy with his progress. Once he got his Taijutsu to a decent level, Naruto began to work on Ninjutsu. Naruto started with Ninjutsu that could be used in conjunction with Taijutsu. Focusing his chakra into his fist, Naruto propelled his fist forward and unleash a powerful blast of energy. Practicing this move over and over again, Naruto managed to get it to the point at a chakra fist the size of a large beach ball that would plow its way through 100ft of trees. "Oh yeah! This is my new Crusher Fist.! Believe it!" Naruto cheered leaping into the air. Moving on to some elemental jutsus, Naruto started to develop a fire, water, and wind jutsu. For fire he would focus on drawing and conjuring fire from his stomach and expelling a stream of intense fire. He got it to the point that the flames were four yards wide and twelve yards long. The head was around 2000 degrees and cost Naruto a decent amount of chakra. Working more on it and trying to lessen the toll, Naruto managed to get it to where he could do 5 attacks a day. "Awesome, I think I'll call this the Raging Fire Jutsu." Naruto grunted. Next he started on water and tried to play on its strengths and fluidity. Making some hand signs he breathed to strings of water at a boulder that was then surrounded by them and instantly in a sphere of water that shot it away and crushed it into pieces. "Believe it! The Torrent Sphere!" Naruto expressed. Lastly he worked on the wind jutsu. Making a spiraling waving motion in front of him, Naruto focused his chakra and released a circular tornado of ten feet in diameter. The tornado tore through the trees, ground, and rocks like they were butter. "Great, this will be my final jutsu for now, The Razor Tornado!" Naruto shouted to the heavens.

Over the next three years Naruto improved his jutsus and skills to an expert level. He wanted to gain mastery of his jutsus before taking on new ones. He also practiced the academy jutsus and tried his best to master them. He excelled in all of them except for the Clone Jutsu. Every clone he made was a pale version of himself that was sluggish and ghoulish. "Damn it, no matter how much I practice I can't get this jutsu down." Naruto huffed. On the day of his graduation exam, Naruto tried with all his might to complete the jutsu but to no avail. "I'm sorry Naruto but you failed." Iruka stated sternly. "Better luck next time." Mizuke sighed. "Excellent I can use his desperateness for my plans" Mizuke thought to himself. After class, Mizuke approached Naruto and let him know about a special test that he could do and graduate. "All you have to do is find a scroll and bring it to me in the forest." Mizuke told Naruto. "Ok I will, Believe it!" Naruto expressed.

Finding the Scroll of Sealing and taking it, Naruto went to the woods and waited for Mizuke. Hearing about the theft of the scroll, the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, assembled a team of Chunin to go and find Naruto and the scroll. While he was waiting Naruto decided to open the scroll and look inside. Reading the scroll, Naruto came across a couple of jutsus he found interesting. Eventually he came across the Shadow Clone Jutsu. Reading up on it and learning its ways, Naruto began to practice the technique. After a few minutes he performed it without fail and was glad that he could do a clone jutsu of sorts. Upon further reading he found another jutsu invented by Tobirama Senju called the Hiraishin: The Flying Thunder God. "Woah a jutsu that allows you to teleport to where you make your mark or something. Hmm." Naruto said to himself. He tried working out the formula and teleporting using a rock. He failed miserably. "Maybe if I have a moving target it could jump start it? Ok. Shadow Clone Jutsu." Naruto declared activating the jutsu and trying to use his shadow clones to help him. Unbeknownst to him he was getting help but in a different capacity. Naruto made twenty clones and practiced with the Hiraishin for about an hour. Soon he marked a rock and chunked it as far as he could and once it landed he teleported instantaneously to it. "Yeah it worked!" Naruto said winded. "This jutsu takes a lot of chakra…man…I'm going to have to work on that. " Naruto huffed.

Resting against a tree, Naruto heard the footsteps of someone approaching his location. Peering in the direction he saw Iruka. "Naruto! What have you done!" Iruka belted. "Huh? Nothing Sensei, I've just been training." Naruto smiled. Studying the young boy, Iruka could see that was the truth. "Why are you stolen the scroll of sealing?" Iruka inquired. "For the secret test given to me by Mizuke Sensei, so I can pass." Naruto replied somewhat confused. "What? Secret test? The hell are you on about?" Iruka asked confused. "Naruto! There you are!" Mizuke called out coming onto the scene. "What have you done Mizuke?" Iruka growled. "I know not what you are talking about." Mizuke pleaded. "You know damn well what I'm talking about. Naruto said you gave him a secret test in order to graduate!" Iruka roared. "You can't trust him Naruto. Iruka has been lying to you this entire time. He hasn't told you the truth." Mizuke smirked. "No you mustn't." Iruka expressed. "What? What don't I know?" Naruto whimpered. "You Naruto are the Nine-Tailed Fox! The one that destroyed the village thirteen years ago! It was sealed inside you, the thing that killed Iruka's parents and tore families apart." Mizuke stated. "No!" Naruto yelled dashing away with incredible speed.

Leaping from tree to tree Iruka looked furiously for Naruto. Spotting someone to his left, Iruka made his way to them realizing it was Naruto. "Naruto give me the scroll. We'll go to Lord Hokage together and explain everything." Iruka pleaded. Suddenly Naruto punched Iruka in the face sending him to the ground. "Naruto what's wrong? It's me" "Lair! I'm Iruka." Naruto said deactivating the Transformation Jutsu to reveal he was truly Iruka. "Damn." Mizuke spat revealing himself. "Why are you doing this Mizuke?!" Iruka demaned to know. "Why are you helping him is the better question." Mizuke spoke harshly. "Because he's a good kid deep down and tries to become better each day. He doesn't pull as many pranks as he once did and I can see vast potential in him. He isn't the Nine-Tailed Fox he is its jailer and keeps us all safe." Iruka preached. Unknown to him Naruto was listening close by with a tear in his eye. "Well I'll just have to cut you down before getting him. I will then take the scroll to my master, Orochimaru." Mizuke laughed engaging Iruka in battle. The two Chunin moved with swiftness and soon Iruka was out maneuvered and stabbed in the back with a giant shuriken. "It's time to die Iruka." Mizuke whispered. Suddenly he was kicked in the jaw and sent flying away. " Don't lay a hand on my sensei or I'll kill you." Naruto growled.

"COME AT ME NINE TAILED FOX!" Mizuke bellowed. "I'm not the Nine-Tailed Fox, I am Naruto Uzumaki!" Naruto declared proudly. Moving swiftly Naruto unleashed several punches and kicks that caught Mizuke off guard. "When did Naruto get this good? He must have been hiding his skills these last couple of years." Iruka said to himself. Naruto was moving with great skill and precision and was able to injure Mizuke several times. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Naruto shouted creating 1,000 clones to Iruka and Mizuke's shock. "He created solid clones. This chakra must be that of the Nine-Tailed Fox…no…this is his own chakra. No wonder he couldn't do the Clone Jutsu, the kid has a gargantuan level of chakra and trying to do the Clone Jutsu he would need chakra control ten times better the Lady Tsunade of the Sannin." Iruka conveyed. "This is impossible." Cried Mizuke. "You're gonna get a beating a thousand fold worse than you gave my sensei." Naruto spat. After a couple of minutes, Mizuke was beaten, broken, and bruised.

Watching from his office in a crystal orb the Third Hokage was all of this go down. "I see, so Orochimaru has got his claws into Mizuke. Damn I'll have to make sure to have the Anbu investigate any other plants. Good to see Naruto get stronger." Hiruzen smiled.

Going to a clearing as the sun rose, Naruto and Iruka rested on the ground. "You did great Naruto. I have a surprise for you. Close your eyes. Taking off his headband he put in on Naruto's forehead. "Congrats Naruto you graduated the academy." Iruka smiled. "Yay! I'm a shinobi, BELIEVE IT!" Naruto gleamed.
