Krystal the telepathy expert of the star fox team was out on a solo fly in her arwing on her way back to the great fox after testing some new equipment slippy had installed.
Ok let's see everything seems to be in working order shields functional, laser upgrade has noticable results and the tune up seems to make the ship fly a bit smoother. Notes Krystal.
She radios the rest of the crew back on the great fox.
This is Krystal I'm almost back to base.
Roger that Krystal we'll be waiting for ya over. says Peppy.
It had been exactly two months since the Apparoid threat was defeated and the lylat system had been very peaceful since then. In fact so peaceful the star fox team has barely had any jobs. It was mostly silence on her way back except for the hum of the arwing. But the silence was broken up by a sudden blue beam enshrouding the craft.
What's this! oh no it looks like a tractor beam! Shouts Krystal.
The tractor beam slowly pulls her arwing into a space station. apon entering the station red lights turn on and the entire inside looks run down and grimey. The entire station locks down with no way out...
TWO HOURS LATER ABOARD THE GREAT FOX
Fox paces nervously as Slippy tinkers with some tech and Falco sits around bored and Peppy takes a nap in his chair.
Fox will you stop moving around so much. says Falco.
I can't Krystal should have been back by now. Oh where could she be.
Peppy wakes up and lets out a yawn and stretches. She did say she would be back soon he says.
I'm going out too look Fox says.
The computer suddenly goes off indicating a approaching aircraft. It lands in the hanger bay and Krystal walks in.
Hi everyone sorry I'm late I got a tad sidetracked.
Krystal what happened? asks Fox
Oh just some bandits they weren't really any trouble.
Well that,s good you had Fox here pacing up a storm. Laughs Peppy.
P-Peppy stammers fox
Krystal just laughs at that remark.
What exactly happened? asks Slippy
Oh just the usual thugs hiding out in a old run down outpost they were more of a bother than a actual threat. All's I really had to do was set my blaster to stun. Honestly they weren't even armed. After that I found the controls and did a manual override on the lockdown.
Well that's a relief.
Yeah Fox over here was about to jump out of his fur worrying about ya. Remarks Falco.
Quiet Falco retorts Fox.

Krystal sits down in a empty chair seemingly all smiles as everyone goes back to what they were doing. The computer gives yet another alert. This time a incoming message from General Pepper appears on screen.
Star Fox team we need your help some rogue thugs are trying to hijack a weapons base on Katina!
We're on it General!
They all rush down to the hanger and jump in there arwings. After a quick system check they fly out of the hanger and jump into hyper space.
They jump out of hyper space and enter Katina's atmosphere.
Ok here's the plan I'll go on foot and the rest of you cover me from-
Fox is then interrupted as Krystal speeds off to the surface.
K-Krystal w-w-wait! shouts Fox.
Krystal lands on the surface and jumps out of her arwing and begins dispatching the thugs one by one with ease. After dealing with the bandits outside she blasts the electronic lock. She then begins chucking grenades inside the hallway clearing it out Then proceeds to sprint through the base clearing out every room one by one. A lone thug in black body armor sits in the main control room.
Oh no you don't security bots destroy the intruder!
A bunch of small flying robots with drills for arms come flying in. But Krystal destroys them with a perfectly timed grenade. The thug in the control room sees this on the cameras.
No way I didn't sign up for this I gotta get out of here!
The door opens and Krystal steps inside the room as the thug cowers in fear.
No have mercy!
Fox and the rest of the gang are approaching the base but stop in there tracks as they hear the thug scream. Krystal then casually walks out as the rest of the team stares dumfounded.
Did you just take out the whole base... by yourself? asks Falco
Yup it wasn't anything hard. Krystal says casually.
But without even any kind of support? says Slippy
Oh well you know common crooks like them no real skills. Shall we head back?
Later that day
Fox sits at his chair thinking about the events that transpired today.
"Something about today just doesn't feel right but I can't quite put my finger on it"
Krystal snaps Fox out of his thoughts.
Hi Fox. Anymore missions today?
Oh hey Krystal uh no i don't -
He is then interrupted by another message from the General.
Star Fox we need your help once again. Robots are attacking downtown Corneria!
The team once again runs to the hanger and boards there arwings. After jumping into hyper space and arriving at Corneria they see the robots down below.
Look at all that metal trash destroying the city. Says Falco
Fox tries to go over another plan but just like last time Krystal flies off ahead.
Seriously again! She's just gonna get killed! yells Fox
Krystal flies in low and starts blasting the robots. But they blast back.after about two minutes of this Krystal lands her arwing and jumps out with a mg and mows down the robots. After taking out the ground units Ariel support arrives. Fox flies in lower and Krystal backflips on the wing of his ship. Fox looks in disbelief at Krystal then back at the incoming robots flying at them. Krystal then opens fire letting out a Rambo style scream. Reinforcements from the Corneria army arrive and the rest of the invading robots are destroyed one by one. Fox lands his arwing and Krystal hops off the wing onto the ground.
Fox then opens the cockpit and climbs out. Still in shock of what he witnessed.

It was nothing really just doing my best to stay in peak physical condition that's all
No way that was definitely something heck I can barley process it all!
Krystal just laughs. Oh Fox it's adorable when you get all riled up like that. Anyway looks like we're all done here let's head back shall we.
Fox still stands there thinking to himself
"Krystal what happened to you. You go out for a test flight and Two hours after your some kinda super athlete capable of taking out small armies. And what's strange you just carry on like nothing is different. I got a feeling something happened to you and I'm going to figure out what."
