Later in the middle of the night Krystal awakens and walks out in the command room to see K2 sitting on the couch.

Everyone is having breakfast knowing full well they have to find a way to defeat the android army.
The peace is cut short as general Pepper comes on the monitor.
Star Fox it's- It's unbelievable a Army of Androids is attacking Katina there led by a mad scientist and they look like-

Krystal looks at Fox and nods everyone heads to there arwings.
Turn those buckets of bolts to scrap metal everyone. Krystal whispers to herself.
On Katina
The Katina defense force is fighting with the android army. The battle is completely one sided as the mechanical forces are too much to handle. The air units have some luck but the powerful experimental weapons the Krystal duplicates were provided are too powerful.
A soldier on the front lines hides behind a pile of sand bags contacting units on his radio.
This is bronze leader the weapons lab is about to be overrun we need- No! No! get away!-
Weapons fire can be heard then static.
The Star Fox team arrives and immediately starts taking fire.
Geeze it's the same as the last time! Yells Falco
There's so many of them I can't focus I'm freaking out! panics Slippy
Everyone calm down and focus let's form up with the Katina air units and back them up. Orders Fox.
One of the androids sees the Star Fox team.
Hey hand me the anti air laser cannon. it asks.
After being handed the experimental weapon it charges a laser and aims directly at Fox and fires. The blast is a direct hit and Fox starts spiraling down in a tailspin. He crash lands right in the middle of the battlefield.
FOX! yell both Falco and Slippy.
Fox climbs out surprisingly uninjured.
I'm ok Team just focus on-
He is interrupted by fire from the enemy. He takes out his blaster and fires back.
Fire from above comes out of nowhere. wiping out some of the enemy.
Looks like you need a rescue huh Fox.

Another soldier comes on the radio.
This is silver leader the enemy has broken into the weapons lab.There overwhelming all of are ground units. The weapons lab is lost I repeat the weapons lab is lost.
The sound of blaster fire then static comes over the radio same as last time.
Fox contacts Peppy on his communicator.
Peppy I need a land master now!
Sending it now. Peppy responds
A land master is sent down to the battlefield. But just as quickly as it appears it is destroyed by enemy rockets before Fox can even approach it.
Dang! Peppy I need you to send another land master ASAP.
No can do the only other one we have is still being repaired.
More chatter comes through the radio.
This is Gold leader they made there way through to the basement of the weapons lab. There trying to make off with- Agghhhhhh!
Fox don't if you go charging into that lab your as good as gone. Says Falco
A large command fleet Is seen hovering over the weapons lab. It blasts a hole in the roof.
Oh no it must be trying to steal the new prototype tank that was made! All units fire on that flagship. commands Bill.
All the ships start firing on the giant flagship but it is too durable. Suddenly a tractor beam pulls in a huge silver colored chrome tank. The flagship fires it's weaponry while landing to keep the Katina defense force at bay while the androids are given the order to fall back. The remaining units board the ship and it immediately disappears into hyperspace.
No! gahhhh Husky Bulldog pack it in we failed. Says Bill.
Fox sits on the ground heavily weighing on the events that just transpired.
So many casualties and for what? A quest to avenge a madman by a arguably even bigger one. This has to end.
A few hours later back on the great Fox
General Pepper briefs the team on the weapons that were stolen from the attack on the weapons lab.
The equipment that was stolen were very high powered experimental weapons. Anti air laser cannons being able to be carried by a single soldier, acid grenades, neurological disruption devices, and finally a Super tank that can literally vaporize anything in it's path. Or at least it's supposed to it hadn't been tested yet.
Dr.mouse is clearly gearing up for a invasion. Supplying his twisted war machine. Says Fox

This is Dr. Mouse all androids report to the base on Fachina. The plan to attack Corneria will be briefed there.

Now hold on I have a different idea. Says K2. Me and you infiltrate the base are selves.
What! is your wiring crossed that's a death sentence.
Think about it all the Androids are modeled after you. So me and you just play the part slip right in and find a way to shut down and destroy the base. If we bring the guys they'll know right away and whole plan goes up in smoke.
Krystal mulls over the idea not sure about it but considering the stakes she agrees.

They go the the hanger and jump in Krystal's arwing as K2 activates the pop up passenger seat.
Ok you fly says K2.
You know if this fails we're done for. Says Krystal

They fly out of the hanger knowing full well how dangerous there mission is.
