I always felt I must look better in the rear view.

Peyton and I had known each other our whole lives.

Us dating as teenagers only made sense. But as time and years went on. It became clear that we didn't work as a couple.

When i ended things. Peyton made her new mission in life. To sabotage every new relationship i tried to start which worked.

Everything changed when i met Haley James.

I was seated at one of the back booths in Karen's cafe. Which was new for me. I mostly stayed near my select group of friends and people. Which basically meant no one in my real life knew i ever came down here.

We met after she accidently dropped the drink i ordered on my lap.

She was embarrassed and flustered.

I found her so and full of life. In a way i wasn't used.

"I'll forget it. If you have a drink with me after you're shift is over." Nathan proclaimed.
